Meet the Team

Dan joined Windsor Federal Bank in April 2025. He brings decades of consumer and mortgage experience to lead and support the Bank’s lending production operations. Dan takes special interest in prioritizing serving our local communities, developing exceptional programs that focus on the needs of our customers and enhancing the financing process. A lifelong resident of Connecticut, his dedication to community is just as strong in his personal life. Dan enjoys coaching baseball and football. Additionally, he is a founding member of a local travel baseball program that helps develop kids who have a passion for the sport, making participation as financially accessible as possible. Dan holds a B.A. in Economics from Eastern Connecticut State University and is a 2015 graduate of Connecticut School of Finance & Management.

After joining the bank in the mid-2000s, Triston found his calling in residential mortgages. “It brings me joy knowing I can help my customers accomplish one of the biggest goals of their life: owning a home.” A self-described people person, Triston receives most of his referrals from past customers. Originally from Jamaica, he has lived in Windsor most of his life and earned a bachelor’s in business economics from Eastern Connecticut State University. He calls his two daughters his pride and joy and says the time he spends with them is “the drive that keeps me going.”

Dan Ursin joined Windsor Federal Bank in 2025 as a Mortgage Loan Originator, bringing over 14 years of experience from community banks, credit unions, and larger financial institutions. His lending career began in 2012 as an underwriter, before finding a greater calling and purpose as a Loan Officer. Over the last decade, Dan has built a reputation for clear communication, client advocacy, and a deep understanding of mortgage and consumer lending. Dan’s clients will tell you that what sets him apart is his attentiveness; it’s why so many of them become lifelong relationships. Whether he’s guiding a first-time homebuyer or helping a family refinance, he prides himself on making the process simple, transparent, and tailored to each borrower’s unique goals. Asked about his professional philosophy, Dan points to his passion for community and the belief that homeownership is a central part of the American dream. That conviction drives his commitment to serving the people and neighborhoods of Northern Connecticut. A lifelong Connecticut resident, Dan lives in Enfield with his wife and son. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and being an active member of the local community.
