Windsor Federal Bank Welcomes Daniel Silva as First Vice President, Residential & Consumer Lending

WINDSOR, CONN., April 1, 2025 – Windsor Federal Bank, headquartered in Windsor, Connecticut, is pleased to announce that Daniel Silva has joined the organization as First Vice President, Residential and Consumer Lending.

Dan brings over 22 years of consumer and mortgage experience to lead and support Windsor Federal’s lending production and operations. He is a proven, effective leader who has demonstrated great success in driving loan origination growth and profitability, streamlining technology implementation, and enhancing customer experience.

“Dan’s vision and proven leadership will only strengthen the Bank’s ability to meet the needs of our customer base,” said Mike Moriarty, Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer. “His innovative approach to the business will help to greatly broaden the Bank’s reach with residential offerings.”

Prior to joining Windsor Federal, Dan served as Vice President, Marketplace Lending at OwnUp, He also served as and Vice President, Senior Manager, Direct Lending at People’s United Bank and Senior Vice President, Consumer Direct Lending at United Bank, prior to the merger with Peoples United.

Dan holds a B.A. in Economics from Eastern Connecticut State University and is a 2015 graduate of Connecticut School of Finance & Management (CSFM). A lifelong resident of Connecticut, Dan and his family reside in Glastonbury. In addition to coaching baseball and football, Dan is a founding member of the Glastonbury Junior Guardians, a travel baseball program that helps develop kids who have a passion for baseball, making participation as financially accessible as possible.
